108. Main Chanukah Question

Sour cream or applesauce?

Some of us prefer both. :-)
Both. Make your own sauce:

5 apples, different kinds, some sweet, some sour

a little water to cover, sugar to taste, one pat of butter.

Peel all the apples except the reddest one. cut them into little pieces, put in a saucepan and add water to about halfway. cook and stir. add sugar to taste and butter if desired, and when is butter not desired?
What good news did you end up posting on the bulletin board?
APPLE SAUCE! and maybe a little bit of sour cream, just maybe..
Applesauce. But only cold smooth (non-chunky) applesauce! Mmmm cold applesauce on hot latka...
LOL, jr. Ketchup just won't do. The jewish red=hot sauce is horseradish.

Good ol' chrayn. (I'll let the chocolate lady correct my spelling.)

Chrayn on latkes? Dubious. However, I guess jr can call it 'freedom of religious choice'.
