227. We're getting civilized here!!

Alaska's first Dairy Queen just opened in Anchorage. There is a rumor that we will get a Target next year. I want Trader Joe's!!!

Not the first Dairy Queen in Alaska. We had a Dairy Queen here in Fairbanks for many years. They were one of the original sponsors of the Midnight Sun Run. I believe it opened sometime in the late 70's.

There was also a DQ in Kotzebue in the 80's
