218. Family at the playground

Some folks who live in the Goldenview part of the Hillside area in Anchorage, Alaska, just built this playground in their yard recently for their 3 and 4 year-old boys. The next morning, the mom woke up to this scene--of four juvenile black bears playing on the new equipment Somewhere in the trees was the mother bear.
Later that same day, a large bull moose moseyed around in the wood chips, inspecting the area. It appears they may need to erect a 12-foot fence around the area before letting any children out

Funny pictures! That might make an interesting twist on Goldilocks and the Three Bears. "Someone was sitting on my swing, and he broke it all to bits!"

Bears are much tastier than the vegetables you showed a while back.
Mama Bear is at the edge of the clearing on the right margin of the photos. In uppper left and lower right, the right edge shows just the front of the head and one forepaw sticking out. In the lower left, there's more of the body just behind the closest green bush.
Bear meat is fairly tasty, not as 'gamey' a taste as one might think. I had bear meat one summer as a student working in the wilderness area of northern Maine. The locals there don't eat bear because of the scavenger nature of the animal. It's not kosher, btw.

I looked at the larger versions.
You're seeing things.
