84. My Letter to the Editor IV

.....Israel is objecting to world pressure to allow a road cutting through Israel to join the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Why the objection? After all, Americans use I-5 and the Alaska Highway to drive from Washington to Alaska, and we cut through Canada to do so. Isn't that the same thing?
.....Oh, wait, one little difference: The United States is not sending out suicide bombers in an attempt to destroy Canada.
